Outstanding Cardiovascular Care - Highly Recommend Dr. Velusamy and Team I cannot say enough about the exceptional care provided by the Cardiovascular Institute of America, especially Dr. Velusamy and his incredible nurse practitioner, Katie. Together, they form a compassionate, knowledgeable, and responsive team that truly goes above and beyond. From the very first visit, their kindness and calm demeanor stood out. They take the time to thoroughly explain every detail, answer all questions with confidence, and most importantly--listen. You're not just a patient; you're a partner in your care. They ensure you're informed, comfortable, and actively involved in your treatment plan. Their bedside manner is nothing short of remarkable. Dr. Velusamy leaves no stone unturned. He and Katie work together seamlessly to build a thorough and effective care plan, offering peace of mind during what can be a very stressful journey. They have a few locations, which is incredibly convenient, and they always strive to get you seen as quickly as possible. I cannot recommend Dr. Velusamy highly enough. He recently performed a critical procedure, placing three heart stents, that undeniably saved my life. From the initial consultation through the surgery and recovery, Dr. Velusmay demonstrated exceptional skill, professionalism, and genuine compassion. He took the time to explain the procedure thoroughly and was reassuring every step of the way. My outcome is a direct result of Dr. Velusamy's expertise. If you need a cardiologist, especially for complex or critical care, this is the one you want.

No one told me, the MANY times I spoke with your office and in the MANY texts you sent, that my 4pm spot would be AFTER all the office appts. I didn't get a call til 510, and I arranged my entire meeting schedule around it. Also, when a patient calls and you need to put them on hold, ASK FIRST. That's just manners. I was put on hold for up to 3 minutes several times. I know how busy your office must be, but there needs to be respect for the patient.

My visit was great very thorough. The PA was very professional and knowledgeable. She explained everything and made it easy to understand. Dr. Velusamy is always good to talk to and helps with my treatment plans. The office staff are very friendly and helpful.

Busy office with attentive front desk. All questions answered, easy check in, experienced personnel. Exquisite attention by Dr White made an excellent impression. Test results were not conclusive so additional tests were scheduled. Unfortunately the appointments are quite distant and a definitive diagnosis will take time.
