About Dr. Benjamin Mackie, MD

Dr Mackie completed medical school at the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa. He completed his internal medicine residency and a fellowship in cardiology, advanced heart failure and cardiac transplantation, at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr Mackie served as chief medical resident and chief cardiology fellow during his training at Emory. He has published a number of manuscripts in notable journals and contributed to numerous cardiovascular disease and internal medicine textbooks. He is a member of numerous professional and scientific societies including the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation, Heart Failure Society of America, and the Florida Medical Association.

Y'all best keep that in mind. Update: Over a year has passed since this doctor killed my best friend; a family man to all, and not once has he nor anyone in his practice reached out to us. From medical "mishaps" (his and Dr Debbie Hoffmans exact words to us) happening left and right, it's astonishing how anyone makes it out of their care alive... Run far, far, FAR away from anything this man has his name tied to.
