Sweeney Timothy J MD

The second steroid injection to my hip joint (to assuage pain caused by arthritis/wear and tear on the hip joint) was performed by Dr. Sweeney. The injection was very painful (unlike the first injection I received five months earlier which was only slightly painful and produced long-lasting pain relief) and my leg was numbed so much that I could not feel it (probably because I complained about the pain). The hip and leg pain has never fully gone away since the shot (as it did the first time). My conclusion is that Dr. Sweeney was not as careful and skilled as the doctor who gave me the first shot.

I thought Dr. Sweeney and his staff were very informative and did a wonderful job with my hip injection. I was a little nervous in the beginning, but they were very reassuring. I felt no pain with the injection, just some soreness afterwards.

Doctor Sweeney was an amazing help today! I had to have a bone biopsy today! He was amazing, he walked me through the entire procedure, even counting down to each process. Explaining what the pain may be like with a pain scale 1-10! I give him a 10....

I had a second shot in my hip today (the first 3 months ago). Both were done by Dr Sweeney, who was efficient and informative. No pain with either one. I hope to have him again in 3 months!
