I am writing this review to detail an extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience with this cardiology office. As a cancer patient on high-risk medication, I require a critical baseline and regular echocardiogram per my oncologist's orders. I scheduled this appointment over a month in advance for Monday morning at 8:00 AM. Everything appeared confirmed via an online link and a confirmation call received on the preceding Friday. However, later that Friday (around 1:30 PM), the office suddenly called to cancel the appointment, citing a missing referral. I immediately informed them I had the referral and offered to fax or email a copy. The fax number provided did not work, forcing my husband to drive to the office and deliver the referral in person around 2:30 PM. Despite having the referral physically in hand, the office maintained the cancellation. They then provided a new, contradictory reason: they now required all my medical history sent directly from my oncologist, stating they needed this information at least five business days prior to the appointment. This new requirement was communicated less than one business day before the scheduled test, confirming that they were only reviewing my file at the last minute. Furthermore, they refused to accept the history from me directly (even from MyChart) and insisted the cancellation would stand. The lack of foresight and basic professionalism is staggering. If extensive medical history was a mandatory pre-requisite, it should have been requested when the appointment was booked a month ago, or at the very latest, several days prior to my confirmed time. This entire debacle added significant, unnecessary stress to an already difficult situation dealing with numerous medical appointments, travel, and high-risk medication as a cancer patient. I am beyond disappointed in the office's care, professionalism, and lack of helpfulness. I have now been forced to drive to Jacksonville to get this crucial test done. I strongly advise potential patients to avoid this practice.

I recently brought my grandparent in for an appointment and I was very dissatisfied with our experience. This office was extremely unprofessional. When we came into the office, one of the lady employees was walking around triaging patients barefoot like she was at home! Other HCA facilities are usually professional but this particular HCA Cardiology office lacked class and obviously had no regard for professional appearance. She was not courteous or pleasant. If a person doesn't even care to wear shoes when dealing with patients, then how compassionate is the care being given? I was very concerned and disgusted. I would not ever bring my relative back if I can help it and if I could give zero stars I would. SO unprofessional!

Received one of the worst experiences with the front office of this business that I ever had in my life. Was in the middle of a mis communication with my pharmacy and DO and needed help getting heart medication I was prescribed for daily use. Instead of just offering an immediate solution and getting me scheduled for another appointment, I was met with sarcasm, annoyance, and aggressiveness during my call. Shared some words with the desk and supervisor, and was dropped as a patient. It's been days since I was able to take the medication I need. Dr. Holder is a great doctor, and his bedside manner is impeccable as was his service to me as a member of his community, but those girls working the front office treated me like garbage. A change is needed, urgently. Good luck.
