The doctor is wonderful. The staff, not so much. Completely disorganized and no follow up at all. I wore a heart monitor for two and a half weeks. It was to be a month but I was allergic. I called here. Staff said they'd call me back. If course no callback (they NEVER return calls or messages from here, first problem). I call again and they tell me the doctor said discontinue it. Great. I do that. The DAY OF my appointment they call me to tell me they don't have the results of my test. Huh? I told the girl I wore it two and a half weeks and she hung up on me. Then some guy calls back and said they wanted me to wear it the whole month (?) and they could reschedule me next month. I had already taken time off work and lost money to drive to the appointment. His response? "Turn around then." Uh, really? I went ahead to the appointment and was still denied at the front desk and offered an appointment even further out than the first one offered. I told them to call me when they find my results which probably means they'll call me when hell freezes over. Looks like I'll need a new provider I guess. Shame because I did like him and he was good but I can't deal with musical appointments and incompetent staff along with "missing" test results that they may find sometime in the next week. Just no.

The office staff are thorough and smart. They are also friendly and thoughtful. Dr Cardona is professional, focused, and listens. He provided me with a care plan that was carefully tweaked to get me to my goal of being able to comfortably work a full day/week. He looked at my EKG and instructed me to take a simple OTC supplement that took care of the problem. He is the best there is. I love that office. Oh, parking is easy and the office is lovely and very clean.

As a recently retired physician practicing in St. Petersburg for over 30 years it was routine to refer patients to Dr. Cardona and his associates due to an outstanding level of knowledge, skills and technique related to cardiac EP/arrhythmias that was not otherwise available in the Tampa Bay area. Recently I underwent multiple procedures performed by Dr. Cardona, all with successful outcomes. In particular I'd like to mention his training in the latest cadiac ablation technique to reverse chronic atrial fibrillation not available even a few years ago. I'm not sure why the many patients who previously failed ablation and still live with chronic AF aren't lined up to have this painless procedure done. Anyway, thanks for everything Francisco.

When Dr Cardona did my tilt table study in 2023 I think it was for 22 it was after I had my first cervical surgery so some of my testing was limited but you know he did say that it came out abnormal I'm not sure why I got his colleague this time to put in a loop recorder cuz I would have thought that there would have kept me with the same doctor you know cuz I know Cardona you know his reputation right now I have Dr Wilson and Marshall for the electrophysicist excellent doctor very knowledgeable I would choose anyone of the heart Institute doctors through Wilson's office or you know cardona's office third floor I try to stay away from seeing that that is usually bypass surgery or you know defibrillator or you know other search I called the surgery for her so I told my other two cardiologists keep me away from them and we're good doctors excellent cardiologists

Dr. Cardona is an exceptional cardiologist--knowledgeable, caring, and attentive. He takes the time to explain everything clearly and provides outstanding care. Highly recommended!
