Patient
My PCP referred me to Cardiology and I was excited to get an appt right away with Dr. Mark Taylor. Before he stepped into the room, I hear him arguing with the nurse outside my room angrily asking why I am here, why I need cardiology, etc. So first impression before meeting, he didn't want to be there. I had edema in both feet and he told me I needed to be rushed to the hospital because it would be fatal if I didn't go - no tests or bloodwork done, just basing it off of a pulmonary embolism I had few months prior even tho I am on blood thinners. He was very condescending, no bedside manner, could NOT be bothered by anything I said when I told him these were not the symptoms I had. I frantically went to the ER and there was nothing wrong with my heart, lungs or brain and I now have an ER bill because this man couldn't be bothered to examine me and listen to me.
