Excellent doctor and outstanding medical team. Dr. Sheppard kept me informed throughout my Mom's procedure, and explained everything simply yet thoroughly. I knew my Mom was in good hands. Dr. Sheppard has an outstanding bedside manner, and from seeing his genuine care before the procedure, to him taking the time to call me personally to explain what to expect in aftercare, I just knew everything would be better than okay. I have total confidence in this doctor and his team.
Have had countless surgeries over the years, and let me tell you, I have walked death road and back. Recently I Had heart ablation for SVT, Afib and arrhythmia. Procedure was done by Dr. Sheppard at Northside hospital on April 19/2017. With prayer and believing in Jesus, knowing that all is in his will and power, I felt comfortable and did the procedure. We even prayed for a change of anesthesia and it was changed at the last minutes. God is great!!! He also answers prayers. What a great experience! I woke up feeling better than I went in. Day #6 still feeling great. Other than this continuous spine pain I have had for the last 6 years. Slight soreness in the groin; about 1 on the pain scale. Throat pain less than 1 now. Feeling strong. Slight intermittent pain on ankle vain and foot bottom about 2 on the pain scale. They used a continuous gas for anesthesia and the Adrenalin makes a big difference for those who doesn't do well with anesthesia. Like "PROPOFOL, FENTYNOL ETC" I couldn't be more pleased. Dr. Sheppard was very comforting, and attentive, When explaining everything to me; he was very detailed. THANK YOU JESUS!!! Thank you Dr. Sheppard!
