Dr. Salazar has been my cardiologist for the past six years. His expertise and bedside manner are exactly what one hopes to find in a physician--yet so rarely does these days. He is unhurried, an excellent listener, thoughtful, patient, and consultative rather than lecturing. Most importantly, he is exceptionally knowledgeable in the field of cardiac care. I always leave my appointments feeling heard, well-guided, and genuinely cared for.
Since I first visited Dr Manuel F Salazar, after an ER event, and worried, 7 years ago, I felt at home, cared about and for, intently listened to and felt safe from worry about my health concerns. How uniquely blessed to have a Heart Surgeon to really Care about my Heart on multiple levels. Kind, patient, thorough. I can't say enough. Dr Salazar is my all time favorite; exceptional, bright, highly accomplished, yet humble, and altruistic. Just a fine gentleman. I'm proud and privileged to have him in my life, & Health Care team. A+ staff A+ for Dr Salazar. If you are looking for quality care go to Dr. Salazar. Read reviews on all doctors you research. If you see patients reporting negative reviews delete even though you may have been referred. My first experience with a heart specialist was exactly like the reviews read, a total disaster. I opted out and did my own research. Dr. Salazar checked all the right boxes.
By far, the most dedicated Doctor I have ever been associated with, cardiologist or any Doctor. He listens carefully. When he records later, it's as if he hasn't forgotten one word that I said. And what a great bedside manor THE ABSOLUTE BEST !!!!!
Follow up visit, after several tests: the doctor sat there, barely looking at me, he didn't bother to go through the test results and flatly asked me "Do you have any questions"? He acted like he couldn't care less. Baffling. Also, they postponed a second scheduled test until the following year because of insurance requirements but I never heard from them again. Avoid.
