Michael Greene, MD

Dr. Greene is a very pleasant and knowledgeable doctor about his field. He made me feel very comfortable about what I was going to go through and very understanding about my feelings. After all we are all the captains of our own ship. He explained my options and encouraged me to feel free to get a second opinion. I thought this was sweet. I would highly recommend Dr. Michael Greene. I never felt rushed though the appointment . Very accessible if you have questions after your appointment as we always do.

When I was told I needed to see a thoracic surgeon and was given Dr Greene's name, I was lost. I had lived in Vero for almost 5 years, but had no experience with or knowledge of thoracic surgeons. I considered going home, knowing that someone in my group of friends knew a good surgeon. In the meantime, I read Dr Greene's reviews. They were all wonderful and one really caught my eye. A woman wrote about her mother who had the same condition that I had. Dr Greene did her surgery and she was doing fine. That review and the thought of starting all over with a surgeon at home made my decision to see Dr Greene. I made a great decision. Our first meeting showed that he wanted me to know exactly what he thought, what he would do and why. He was not in a hurry, he was quite relaxed and seemed to have all the time in the world. At least he seemed to have all the time I needed. He did the surgery, he was at the hospital every day to check on me, and when my body presented a complication, he acted right away to alleviate the problem. His staff was wonderful, treating me like an old friend. I highly recommend Dr Greene, he is a great Dr who listens, explains ( more than once if needed), and cares. The caring is obvious.

Dr Greene very thorough in his explanation, of what is going on with my issues. Made me feel reassured that what he explained needed to be done to get a definative answer was the right decision! Calming presence, made me feel reassure that decisions made were the correct path to follow. Would highly reccommend Dr Greene!

You won't be sorry if you are referred to Dr. Greene. He is amazing. At first, I was disappointed that I had to travel from Melbourne to Sebastian to see a specialist but after my appointment with Dr. Greene, I was so glad that I did. He explained my medical condition in terms I could understand and answered all my questions. He assured me a 1 year follow up would be sufficient and I feel very confident with his decision. I would highly recommend him to any one who needed a thoracic surgeon.

Had major lung surgery by Dr. Michael A.Greene who is the most excellent surgeon and caring human being. My after care at Sebastian River Medical Center was very satisfactory.
