Dr. Vesco is as good as it gets (although the surgery is painful!). After multiple failed ablations and upwards of 25-30 cardioversions, I was referred to Dr Vesco to consider a surgical ablation (Maze IV procedure). He was extremely professional, explained the procedure in detail and was very patient in answering my questions. He also coordinated with my electrophysiologist to ensure the best outcome possible. While the aftermath of this procedure is quite painful, I will take it if it means my arrhythmias may be fixed (will know over next several months). Bottom line -- this is a difficult and delicate surgery. Dr Vesco is one of the top surgeons for his version of the MazeIV procedure. If you need to take this step, I think you should strongly consider Dr Vesco!!

One of the best doctors we've ever been to. I waited from 10:30am to about 5:30pm and while the other doctors called, Dr. Vesco was the ONLY doctor that came to the surgery waiting area to speak with a family member. He takes his time to explain everything, what he is going to do, what happened during the procedure, the next steps.. Office is great too. Thanks for being so human! It makes a huge difference when we are going through such a difficult time.

Dr. Vesco performed surgery on my mother (Judie Martin) and everything went well. She says he has a great bedside manner and when my daughter and I met him he was very knowledgeable and friendly and I felt like I could ask questions without feeling foolish... Excellent heart surgeon! Before seeing Dr. Vesco I had many issues with my heart and after the Maze procedure my heart is doing great! He is very thorough and listen to each of my concerns and acts on them. Takes his time and makes me most confident in ANY decisions he chooses for me. I have yet to find a cardiologist, no less a brilliant surgeon, like him before and grateful to be in his care!
