Doctor Eckard and his staff are great! They gave very good instructions about the Medtronic LinQ, as did the Medtronic rep. Every step of the procedure to insert the cardiac monitor was explained. The clinician who will be monitoring any Afib gave me her phone # to call if I have any questions or feel any symptoms. I received excellent care and teaching about precautions & will get a call phone call in a week from an RN. It was a great experience.

I had an appointment with Dr Eckart to install a Linq recorder and everything was very well organized and efficient. The pre procedure done by his assistants was straightforward and easy to understand along with post procedure requirements and expectations. Dr Eckart answered all my questions before performing the procedure and addressed the benefits for me of having the Linq doing realtime analysis of my heart functions. From check in to Linq installation to post procedure explanations/follow ups this was an excellent experience!

Dr. Eckart Has performed 2 procedures on me, an ablation and a Watchman type implant. He has been clear about the procedures. I have been very comfortable with his explanations of each procedure. I did research his history and reviews and feel confident that all was done the best way for me.

Remarkable - - like watching a well-rehearsed ballet. Dr Eckart also has the unique ability to make you feel like you are his only patient. The support staff, before during and after the procedure were also remarkable members of the "ballet." Every step of the way, my expectations were greatly exceeded.

I recently had my 13-year old pacemaker replaced by Dr. Eckart of Heart Specialists of Sarasota. I couldn't have been in better hands for this procedure. This is the second replacement he has done for me and the procedure and recovery have gone very smoothly. Still healing but looking good!
