I had an appointment today with the nurse for my annual Medicare wellness check. I went to the desk and told the man at window 4 I was here for my appointment at 8:45. At 9:15 I still had not been called and went back to the same window and the man was asleep. I asked if he had checked me in and he asked my name and said I was checked in now. I waited 10 more minutes and told another person to cancel the appointment. They convinced me to stay and was seen 10 minutes later.

This place is a nightmare! There is so much miscommunication between the techs, the nurses, and the doctors. One person says we have your MRI results and the doctor is reviewing. Later the same day I get a message from the doctor saying she is awaiting the MRI results. Some staff are friendly, some clearly aren't meant to have jobs dealing with the public. The actual doctors seem decent, but if you've got incompetent and careless staff then it affects patients negatively. I definitely do not recommend this place except as a last resort.

Due to having a horrible experience with the Brandon location and no longer wishing to see the doctor, Sara Careers that told me that we never discussed medication refills which was the only reason for my appointment, I went there. Arrived 15 minutes early and took a half day off from work to wait in the waiting room for over 1 hour. Once called back I was greeted by the PA and she was WONDERFUL! Once my concerns for my mental health were being discussed, she went and got the doctor. I stated I needed a refill on my medications and due to the previous doctors negligence, I had to go on withdrawals from one of my medications and I was not willing to go back on it. After expressing my concerns, APRN E. Young stated "This is a referral appointment and the time for that is 15 minutes." They refilled my medication and then she told me I selected a referral appointment not a new patient. I told her I called in for the appointment and was not told this information. Also my primary care doctor was still the same one I did not want to see and she moved to their Trinity location and I would need to come back and restate all my concerns at my next appointment in 4 months for a new patient. She then told me I needed to see a specialist and I stated that I would have to pay out of pocket. She told me that my insurance does cover it. Then I told her I would need providers listed and then she asked what insurance I had. How could she state that my insurance covers this specialist if she didn't even know what it was? I left in tears due to the frustration and I don't cry easily. I also looked back in my chart and I seen her in 2020 after having my baby and then also in 2022 and 2023. So I don't understand how I am a new patient to her. I have been with this practice since 2012 and I will be seeking care elsewhere since money and time allotments were more important. Oh, They billed it as a new patient visit even though I have to go back for a new one. I called my insurance and they said since I already had a new patient appointment, they would not provide one for another 6 months. If you would like someone who treats you as just a number, go to any of their locations!

During of my day today 04/24/2025 I received a call through the Kennedy clinic at 2501 W Kennedy Blvd. To follow up on my appointment that I scheduled in a few days. Someone called and I returned my call as soon as possible. I spoke to a lady on the phone, she transferred the call that was answered by the person at Kennedy with her name Born. This lady, according to her, is in charge of working with the receptionist team. She treated me very poorly on the phone. Very rude. Very unpleasant, unprofessional. In a manner that forced me to leave my work and come to the Kennedy clinic today. When I arrived at the office, I asked to speak to the manager, they told me they were busy, I asked Melissa who speaks Spanish, and I went with her. of which she did the best she could do to help me, since they had a misunderstanding when I was a patient for more than 10 years, Melissa treated me in the best way and tried to resolve all my concerns for my appointment on 04/24/2025. the complete opposite of Born who was horrible on the phone, Borm you are arlado of Melissa who treated me was very unpleasant and rude and she was the one who treated me badly on the phone. When I simply told her on the phone that we should resolve this and that's it, she hung up on me when I arrived at the Born clinic. She laughed as a form of mockery, so a patient is not treated badly and even more so if I do not disrespect Borm. The whole time I was in person talking to Melissa, Borm was laughing and she knew very well who I was because she stuck to Melissa and told her that she wanted to talk to me first of all, as a professional, she had to identify herself and not talk to me. Borm knows very well that she didn't help me and treated me very badly. I think that Borm shouldn't be in a place of TGH, working with patients and making them feel like we are nothing. She is not the right person since her treatment and her mockery did not comply with the protocol of a hospital.At the end of the day, all the indifference and confusion that you have because the team at TGH Clinic does not have enough idea and advise us as they should be. A 10-year patient who has been absent for 2 years does not need to see a primary doctor again. This has been all the inconvenience that has happened and the mistreatment of the person who works for the Tampa General Clinic, the one who sits next to Melissa when you enter the lobby, I want to let the full team of traps know. And to the manager of this location, please take action and teach your employees more how to handle patients and not make fun of them, because I believe that we go to a clinic to be treated, not to make us spend more time or make them spend more time. I can't believe it that she refused to say her name, but I figured out that her name is born because I asked her I too late on. She really does not need that position. She think she's to help patient. She's not the right person to Feit this.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! Buyer beware they will charge you for services you do not receive sending a huge bill to your insurance and those costs will roll over to you. They provide primary care services but bill for outpatient clinical services and refuse to correct the billing. I ended up paying over $200 for a doctor to talk to me for 20 minutes. These people intentionally over charge the insurance leaving you holding the bag. I have never experienced such greed from any doctor I have ever been to. I don't know how these people sleep at night causing so much damage to low income families.
