I was seen by Dr. Isaac Dor in clinic at his office earlier this week. I was not feeling well (profuse sweating, significantly elevated blood pressure readings and anxiety). Dr. Dor examined me and immediately had me admitted into the hospital (Florida Coast Medical Center). I was then followed by Dr. Dor and underwent comprehensive cardiac and other related studies to understand the root cause as to how I felt, etc...
Dr. Dor is a very talented, educated and compassionate cardiologist.
To make a long story short, everything thankfully worked out for me and Dr. Dor was "spot-on" when he pinpointed that most of my problem(s) had to do with my CPAP machine and advanced sleep apnea; to which he recommended I should be on a BIPAP machine.
Dr. Dor placed an order for me after my 1st night in the hospital to have a BIPAP machine installed. After the Respiratory Therapist connected me to the BIPAP, I slept incredibly well and over the next several days my blood pressure readings returned back to my normal baseline levels of 117/75.
If you are looking for a compassionate cardiologist with an impressive academic background with many years of experience, you should immediately contact Dr. Dor's office at Stuart Cardiology in Port St. Lucie, FL for a consul.

Dr Dor was personable. I found him to be direct, considerate and competent. He was a bit short on listening though. I get the frustration doctors have with patients giving too much irrelevant info and history, and I know they are always pressed for time, but often the relevant points can be missed when a doc is pressured by time as they always seem to be. I did feel a bit dismissed and as if my concerns were of minor importance, but perhaps they were compared to other of his patients.
Biggest frustration I had was with the office. They had a contract problem with my insurance that left me waiting to get tests ordered in July FINALLY done at the end of November. Worse yet, I had to keep calling them. Had I not, I would have been completely forgotten. In fact, I was until I called yet again to find out the insurance problem had been fixed, but nobody called me to schedule the tests I had been waiting months to get. Very poorly run if you ask me. I moved here 2-1/2 yrs ago and have found medical care in Florida to be abysmal so far!
Dr Dor a 4.5, the office 1.5

I was seen on time. Dr Dorr has been doing a great job keeping my chances of heart attack and or stroke at bay with medications. He was open to listening of my idea to try to decrease my cost of my expensive prescription since I am now a widow and came up with a solution to try going ahead.
