Dr. Casanova is so willing to give of his time to his patients of which my husband and myself are. He listens and explains medical questions to our satisfaction, and is willing to try new ways to approach old conditions. His staff is very professional and well respected.
This review is for the newer ARNP that Dr. Casanova has on staff. I am saddened to have to write this review because I have dealt with Dr. Casanova for over 8 years, and his staff and genuinely find Dr Casanova himself to be an exceptional physician. However, one bad apple can spoil the whole bunch. This lady -the Arnp - refuses to fill out important paperwork that the state requires for disabled patients. She didn't even understand what the paperwork was for, was extremely rude and arrogant and when confronted she chose to double down with her egotistical behavior instead of just do the right thing. I have never in 8 years had an issue with a Dr not signing this vital documentation that is once again required by the state (not me). So when she asked me "you are going to change doctors over a piece of paper" I have to say, if it's a just a piece of paper then why couldn't you sign it? Documentation is just as important as treating a patients physical symptoms, and is a huge part of working in the medical field which she is well aware of. So yes, we will be finding a new Dr who won't make a hard process even harder just by being petty and unreasonable.
Dr Luis Casanova is by far the best dr I've ever had. He is very thorough and will treat you with respect and wants to get to the bottom of what's going on. The staff is pretty AWSOME and the office is very clean.
