Patient
I have been a patient of Dr. Gillette for a couple of years, and unfortunately, I have been repeatedly disappointed with his approach. At my very first visit, he told me, "You're young, you'll recover fast," and, "Young people like to do virtual visits, so let's schedule your next appointment that way." I was 36 at the time. Comments like these made me feel that my health concerns were being dismissed because of my age, which comes across as discriminatory. Over time, I noticed a pattern: my concerns were not taken seriously, and my requests were often brushed aside. My most recent appointment was the last straw, as I again felt unheard and disregarded. I also know of other former patients who stopped seeing him for the same reasons. I don't usually write reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience given that this involves medical care. If you want a doctor who listens, understands, and takes your concerns seriously, I recommend looking elsewhere.
