Dr.Paul Popper and His Girlfriend/ (nurse or nurse practitioner not sure her title )Deb, are the most uncaring people I have ever met. My 84 year old Mother was renting Dr Poppers house and Deb was the one who handle things. I sure hope if your family member goes to them for any medical treatment, They don't treat them the way they treated my 84 year old mother. The house she was renting from Them had some Damage from Hurricane Ian. Still livable. My mother ended up in the hospital and was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. The day she was released from the hospital she came home ( to what she thought was her home) to a note on her door she had until November 30,2022 to vacate the premises. (They didn't even have the decency to Hand it to or serve it properly the taped it to the front door.Absolutely no explanation and she was NEVER late with her rent and kept the yard beautiful and the house clean.. Of course no other places to rent or even storage units to rent due to the hurricane My 84 year old mother had to sell everything she owned and watched her entire life be sold out from under her. They have no idea the heart ache they caused her nor did they care. All they wanted was her out so they could rent it to another employee in their office. Who would do that an 84 year old woman. Yes 2 very uncaring people Dr.Popper and his girlfriend/ nurse Deb .You may want to rethink before you see these two they have Absolutely NO Compassion. All they care about is themselves. Their maintenance guy Jim also had my mother so afraid of him so she wouldn't call and ask them to fix anything. I believe this is elderly abuse. So you may want Find a different Dr..

This place is horrible. Rude office staff! Always make you wait way longer than necessary. Deb is very unprofessional! Almost never actually see the dr and when you do, you have to scream at him because he can't hear a word you say. I would never go there even of its the last place in town. If i could give less than one star I would. Retire already!!!

First & foremost I feel that the most exceptional employee in the office is Christina. She runs the front desk with complete courtesy & professionalism. On a lot of days as I wait in the patient's waiting room, I don't quite know how she does it! :) Christina is the first person that a new patient or an existing patient normally talks to. It's up to her expertise & genuine care that a new patient decides whether or not to make an appointment. The Dr. Paul Popper & Deborah Jo Dunham team have been taking care of me since 2009. I remember vividly moving here from Tampa and I had no health insurance coverage. Therefore I was led to the Health Department in Pt. Charlotte looking for some help with my cardiac issues. They both showed up & seemed to take interest in me. They saw me for no charge. At that point I was filing for disability. I knew, if or when I got approved, that I would choose them to handle my cardiac care issues. Today is July 6th of 2020 and I am still with them. Yeah, they sure did take interest in me. The rest is history!! :) Diana M.

Dr. popper and Deborah Dunham PA was assigned my case when in Fawcett Hospital. I was released on a Saturday 11/15/21 and was told by Deborah I would be seen on Monday or Tuesday 11/15. They released me with high blood pressure stating they will adjust meds outpatient. They were going to do a stress test and heart monitor. I called early Monday morning 11/21/21 to make sure I was in their system. I gave my insurance info to MJ and was told they would call me back. Never did. Tuesday morning I spoke to Dawn who again took my insurance and said she would call back. I again explained my blood pressure is high and having headaches. At 2 pm on Tuesday Dawn called back and asked for my insurance info again and said when I'm in their system they would give me an appointment. Today is 11/21 and received no call. Soooo, if your office personnel is responsible to get you in, I'd be dead by now. Anyway, one week later, resumed my search for another cardiologist. Funny, when I called for an appointment at another doctor, they gave me an appointment immediately. Are they a good cardiology group....you tell me. Dr. popper, you need new staff, they are hurting your business. You lost me as a patient....
