Kevin Ergle, MD

Dr. Kevin Ergle was amazing. Not just with the procedure, but his bedside manner, the way he patiently explained and listened to myself and my family. At my post op appointment he took the time again to answer all questions and he even showed me a video of my surgery. A remarkable surgeon. I highly recommend Dr. Ergle.

Dr. Kevin Ergle is by far the worst doctor I have ever dealt with. On December 1st, I was scheduled for a catheterization to implant a stent, a procedure he recommended instead of open-heart surgery. My insurance (Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield) denied the procedure, stating it was not medically necessary. I immediately tried to contact his office for guidance, but their phones are never answered--only voicemail, and messages are never returned. After persistent attempts, I finally spoke with Ashley, his assistant, who assured me that after Thanksgiving, Dr. Ergle would contact me on December 1st to explain the insurance denial and my options. Today is December 10th, and I have received no communication whatsoever from Dr. Ergle or his staff. This level of neglect is unacceptable, especially for a cardiologist. It shows a complete disregard for patient care and the Hippocratic oath. Earlier this year, another doctor from Memorial Hospital recommended bypass surgery, and I sought a second opinion from Dr. Ergle--only to experience poor attention and zero follow-up. I strongly do not recommend this doctor under any circumstances. His office is unresponsive, and his priorities seem misplaced.

Does anyone work in this office? I have called everyday since Monday (4 days later) to schedule a follow up from being discharged from ICU-Acute Heart Failure, Congestive Heart Failure, and AFIB and it seems no one cares to call back. We were told to see this doctor within the week. I have left over 15 messages, spoke to several call center agents, and called every hour on the hour. Even the call center agents cant seen to get anyone on the phone. Referred from the hospital, as well as the physician. Is this place even open for business? Do they even care about their patients? Is there a direct number other than a call center to get a hold of someone that works there? Do I just need to show up in person? Please advise.

We accidentally missed the appointment.... because we were at his other doctor's . After realizing, this we called doctor Ergle's office and it was so kind of him to let us come later in the day. #VeryGrateful

Dr. Ergle has been my cardiologist for three years now. He was also the surgeon responsible for saving my life when I had a cardiac episode. What I respect the most about Dr. Ergle is how attentively he listens to all my concerns and how clearly he explains the course of action. I also immensely appreciate the staff at his practice, from the nurses to the administrators and receptionists, they are all very courteous and accommodating. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Ergle to anyone that would like to be treated by a conscientious, compassionate, caring and knowledgeable physician.
