Patient
I received a phone call telling me that my appointment had time misallocated. It was meant to be a wellness appointment of forty minutes and instead was booked as an appointment for follow up of twenty minutes. I accepted that knowing I would have to have a follow up appointment for my wellness. At my appointment, I found out that the wellness appointment had to happen before the end of the month to be covered by medicare. That left us with one and a half weeks to have the appointment. Secondarily, when I arrived for my follow up appointment, no.Notice was given to me that the doctor was running behind schedule. This was not a few minutes, but over forty five. If I had known that I would have just skipped it. I do understand that sometimes emergencies happen, but it would be nice to have known why I was kept waiting.
