Update: The office contacted me and showed genuine concern about my review. I met with Dr. Wariboko in person and she couldn't have been more delightful. She's very thorough and caring, listened to my concerns. I understand now that there was a miscommunication, which happens sometimes. I have no doubt that she is an excellent and caring cardiologist.
I had an appointment set up through mychart and was informed on that app to sign in 30 minutes prior to my 4pm appointment. I signed in at 3:30, filled out required questionnaire and then checked back in at 3:39pm to "join conversation" with the doctor. At 4:22pm, after 43 minutes of being on E-hold, I was called by staff to inform me that Dr. Wariboko does not use MyChart, and instead uses Zoom, and I will receive a text message in 30 more minutes to connect. I am unsure why I wasn't told this prior to my appointment. Jessica apologized for the delay.
A few more technical difficulties occurred before I was able to speak with the doctor at 5:12pm. Dr. Wariboko was kind, apologized for not being able to meet in person due to COVID, and listened to my concerns and explained what she believed to be going on. When she looked at my chart, she stated "oh, you have quite a few ER visits...." which I was unsure how to take. I have had 3 ER visits in the last 3 years, which were unrelated to cardiac causes. It left me wondering if the doctor was taking my cardiac symptoms seriously, or thought I might be crying wolf. She then said because of my age, she did not believe anything significant was going on, but she would do an echo and and ekg.
I'm supposed to meet with her in person again, so I will update my review accordingly.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Wariboko and her staff. She takes her time to listen to your concerns and explain your condition in a language that you can understand. She is a great doctor and a beautiful person both outside and inside. I'll recommend her anytime to everyone in need of a cardiologist.

I recommended Dr Wariboko to a family friend for their cardiovascular care. She is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to explain disease processes. She is a no nonsense doctor with a passion for cardiology and more importantly she passionate about her patients.

Does not truly care about patients in my opinion. Refused to see me knowing the possibility of patients being late due to major parking issues at the Memorial West location. No wonder she was the only Dr available when i called to make an emergency appointment. Fifteen minutes late, another 8 minutes to be called back and be told she WONT see me. Her assistant, who was very pleasant, asked agaiin for me, was told again she wont see me and to reschedule. I said no thank you. I try to give my people a chance and this "You're beneath me" treatment is what i get. She doesnt have to worry about me coming back.
