Memorial Hospital West

This is my 2nd labor and delivery stay! I was not disappointed at all! Everyone that talked to me, helped me, etc were wonderful! My recovery team (c-section) was awesome! So friendly and supportive. But my nurses were hands down the best! Just being there 2 nights I made relationships with a few ladies, definitely hoping to see them again (out in public). My favorite 2 nurses were Debbie and Lunise!!!!!! My ONLY issue was the location of labor and delivery rooms (VIEW)! us ladies gave birth and when we are staying a few nights we need to see more then just another brick wall with mold from the outside weathering! Definitely need to give the rooms a tinted outside window and give us a view that will be calming and pleasant NOT dark and gloomy!!

I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the staff members of Memorial Hospital West who were involved with my procedure, pre-op and post-op care on July 16th, 2025. I can truly say that my experience was made very comfortable and seamless by the team of individuals under the guidance and supervision of Dr Howard Baikovitz. Everyone played a critical role in making this process a success with little to no discomfort. I am sincerely grateful for that especially with this being my first time having an endoscopy. Eversince I became a patient at Memorial Hospital System, I have consistently lauded the quality of care and attention provided at your institutions. My experience yesterday has once again underscore my confidence in Memorial Hospital System delivering the best medical care in South Florida. Thanks for having me, and I look forward to continuing with MHS as my first and only choice for ALL my medical needs.

I recently had the privilege of giving birth at Memorial West, and I must say that the care I received was exceptional. Although my baby required NICU care, the nurses were incredibly supportive and compassionate. I'd like to extend a special thank you to Nurses Alex, Angie, and Stacy for their kindness and dedication to my baby's care. However, my journey didn't end there. During a visit to the NICU, I experienced a medical emergency, requiring admission to the Cardiac Unit. I'm grateful for the outstanding care I received from Nurses Ansly, Joann, and Amy, who provided me with attentive and professional care during a challenging time. I'd also like to thank PCAs Nina, Lala, and Jay for their kindness and assistance throughout my stay. Their compassion and dedication to patient care truly made a difference in my experience. Overall, my experience at Memorial West was marked by exceptional care and compassion from the entire team. I'm grateful for the outstanding care my baby and I received, and I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone in need of medical care.

The staff here are so amazing & awesome! They are caring, considerate & compassionate people! I have not encountered one individual that did not show a genuine concern to me! Even staff not assigned to me, came by to say hi & check on my well being! The doctors are excellent in their craft & very informative to include the patient in their assessment! Care services are expedient. I was hospitalized for over a week & never had to want for anything! God forbid I require in patient care again, this hospital would be my first choice! Kudos to all staff that took care of me & blessings to the doctors: Jundi, Dias & Pascuzzo! You are in extraordinary hands at this establishment!

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Memorial West Hospital as I welcomed my son through surrogacy. The entire team was incredibly caring, kind, and supportive, making every moment even more special. The nurses on the 2nd floor were wonderful -- always helpful and attentive, even finding a bottle warmer I needed! A special thank you to Melanie and Stephanie, but truly everyone was fantastic. On the 3rd floor, Nathalia Colon, Yoli, and Maria (who gave my baby his first bath) were all exceptional. The room was excellent, and our wonderful doctors, Dr. Douglas Smith and Dr Rodriguez, made the delivery moment truly unforgettable -- beautiful, calm, and filled with love.
