Ascension Sacred Heart Bay

I went for an MRI. Firstly they have appts on Sat & Sun! The outpatient lobby was clean, comfortable. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly and I was taken to the mri room within 2-3 mins after filling out my paperwork. I was done in 20 mins. My tech, who I can only remember her last name Gillmer because it was almost the same as mine, was very knowledgeable and friendly. I will be having all my diagnostic testing at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay!@

I have spent the last 3 nights in the PCU at this hospital. I had a few great nurses, cafeteria staff that took care of me but above all of them (Camille)) was the 5 star. She was so pleasant to be around, always smiling and knew her job very well. I even told her to tell her mom that she did a GREAT job raising her. We talked about Thanksgiving because she had to work and I was there because I was very ill. She said her mom made the best corn bread stuffing and miniature sweet potato pies. We hugged on the day I was leaving and both my husband and I told her what a blessing she was to be my nurse. She went way above and beyond. Thank you Camille for making my stay a very pleasant one.

I spent 3 nights in PCU for medication loading and heart monitor implant then unexpectedly a pacemaker. All the nurses were great. And the food i had was good. Pleasant stay considering my plight And my electrophysiologist is awesome as well. Dr Khaja. And Dr Patel was my cardiologist for years. Great doctors

The staff was incredible from the ER room to the PCU, and the surgery room, the nurses and doctors were kind, caring and efficient. Yes it is a very old building and the equipment is not very updated, but the staff worked so well together as a team, had fun and made what is a horrendous time as a patient, a very bearable experience. There was quite a lot of miscommunication in time, process and procedure, but once notified they were helpful and understanding in accommodating my needs. I lived in Dallas and was on vacation in Panama City and had to board a flight to return home. They did whatever they could to get me right and to travel back home safe. The entire team needs a huge pat on the back, and an acknowledgment that we as patients do appreciate them and so should everyone who may not see how awesome they are.

In 2018, my father spent 8 days at Bay medical, in Oct. 2025 he spent another 5 day. The doctors, nurses, CNA, cafeteria staff, front desk staff, and security are all amazing! He got great care, and we were all treated wonderfully. For being in a scary crazy situation. They all made it just a little easier! Thank you, to the staff of Ascension Sacred Heart Bay.
