This is not a review of the doctor himself, but a review of the office procedures. I was scheduled for a nuclear stress test and received absolutely no written information or instructions about what it entailed. Consequently, I arrived at my 10:30 appointment, expecting to be out in about an hour. First off, I waited a half hour to be called back. Then I was called back and got the dye injection and was told to wait in the waiting room for an hour. I didn't know this was going to happen, otherwise, I would have brought a book to read. So I waited and then again was called back for ekg things and waited again while all those before me went and finished up. Someone told me this is a four-hour procedure!! No one ever told me that! I think I was there for 3-1/2 hours. Come on, office staff! Couldn't anybody tell me this? I did get a phone call the day before, but was only told not to eat or have coffee. Nothing about how long I was going to be there or what the visit would entail. Please do better!

I recently visited Dr. Amit Nanavati, MD, at Advent Hospital in Palm Coast, FL. Dr. Nanavati was very helpful and polite. He listened to my concerns and provided medical solutions to address my health problems. The front staff was courteous, but there could be room for improvement regarding wait times, communication clarity, and their dry attitudes. Streamlining check-in or providing more detailed updates during wait times could enhance the patient experience. All things said, I DO NOT GIVE DOCTOR REVIEWS LIGHTLY, SO BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY THIS: the doctor is great, and I would recommend this practice.
