Quality Medical Care

If I could give lower than one star, I would. I visited Dr. Velasco a handful of times due to complications with my medication. During my first appointment, I was placed in a room near the nurses' station. While my door was closed, I could clearly overhear a conversation at the desk about another patient's medication refills. The discussion was loud enough for me to hear details including the patient's full name and personal medical situation. This was uncomfortable and concerning to me, as I believe such matters should be handled privately. At the end of my appointment, I was told I could no longer see this doctor as a patient. This left me at risk of running out of medication that is critical for my health. In my personal experience, I felt dismissed, interrupted, and that my concerns were attributed solely to "anxiety" without meaningful discussion. In my opinion, this is not the level of care or professionalism I expect from a medical provider. I would not recommend this practice based on my experience.

Love this practice! Nurse practitioner, Sasha, is a wonderful provider. She is very knowledgeable and takes the time to listen to her patients and she provides detailed information about the diagnosis and the care provided for it. She explains things in plain English, which is refreshing.

I love this medical practice. The office staff is very friendly and wait times are very short. I see NP Sasha who is very efficient and full of knowledge.

I have recently moved back to Palm Bay. I wanted to reestablish a Primary Doctor. I had been to Quality Medical Clinic while living in Palm Bay a few years ago so I thought this would be pretty simple. I called on a Friday and was,told by Kim she would take my information and the doctors would screen me to see if they would see me. Which I thought was strange . But anyways I had to call her on Tuesday She made an appointment for me on Wednesday. I drove to the office I had been to before after asking her if she was located in the same office . To find I was in the wrong office. Drove to the other office .Filled out a ton of paper work. Waited on the doctor for him to walk in and say he could not help me. What happened to that screening process that took 3 days All I wanted to do was establish a Primary Doctor. Talk to him about how I was feeling and continue receiving the medication my previous Primary Doctor had prescribed to me. That seemed to difficult for them.

These people are the rudest I have ever met. All they want is your money and demand blood workup every three months just to renew blood pressure meds. I felt like a bank to them and they seem to only care about money and not their patients. The practical nurse is the worst. I suggest you find someone else.
