Dr. Huijian Wang (SARA)

I have been a patient of Dr. Wang for the past 5 years, since I was diagnosed with a movement disorder. I feel like home everytime I have to go for my appointments. Dr. Wang accommodates all my medication for me to feel 100% better, he is incredibly professional and caring. He also operated on my husband's heart , best decision to save his life.

Dr Wang's office uses a third party vendor to conduct their nuclear heart tests. This vendor only comes to their office on Wednesdays, therefore appointments are 2 - 3 months out. I called a few times to see if there were any cancellations then asked if I could go somewhere else. A couple weeks ago, Dr Wang's office sent the order and I scheduled an appointment for this morning with a different provider. The out of pocket was alot more but I was willing to use my HSA to get results about my heart much sooner. Yesterday, Dr Wang's office called me asking if I had had the test yet and I told them "no, it is Tuesday (today) at 7 AM". Dr Wang's office said they had a cancellation for tomorrow Wednesday at 1:15 PM and do I want it. Since Dr Wang is my doctor for two years and the test fee is less than the other provider, I agreed to take the appointment for tomorrow. I cancelled this morning's appointment with the other provider. This morning at 9:15 AM, I received a confirmation text from Dr Wang's office for tomorrow at 1:15 PM which I answered - Confirmed. At 11:00 AM this morning, Dr Wang's office called me to tell me that they cancelled my appointment tomorrow because they don't have an authorization from my insurance. Dr Wang's office did not call my insurance about this, did not give me the opportunity to call my insurance about this, and to serve their own self interest, offered to reschedule me in October! I reminded the person speaking to that they called me and they already had authorization before and do not cancel my appointment. She refused to keep my appointment and wanted to send me over to billing. I asked to speak to Dr Wang and she asked me if I wanted a Telehealth appointment. I don't need one as I have a follow up visit scheduled for after the heart test! I was told that Dr Wang doesn't speak to his patients on the phone. If he was busy, I was willing to wait. I was told again that Dr Wang does not speak to his patients on the phone. A telehealth visit would be a paid conversation about his office dropping the ball on this. This is not the first office misstep. The last Rx refill, I called my Rx provider and was told they would have to reach out to Dr Wang's office for approval. My Rx provider left multiple voice messages and faxes for a week. When they didn't hear back, they contacted me. I contacted Dr Wang's office and also was sent to voice mail. I left a message with all the required information. It was the next week that I was able to fill the Rx. Dr Wang's office did not bother to text me then, nor call, nor email. Nothing. I found out from my Rx provider. At noon today, I called my insurance and there is an authorization dated 8/7/24 for Dr Wang. I have Commercial insurance. Complete Cardiology Care - YOU'RE FIRED. With respect to your response, it is completely false and an attempt to absolve yourself from responsibility. Totally predictable from your lack of accountability. Stop calling me and harassing me. I have saved each one.
