Today 10.20.25 Dr. Wilkinson waited an hour to see my 94 year old Mother on consultation at Advent New Smyrna because she had to go to the bathroom!!! So he arrived , turned around and volunteered to return in an hour after I explained it takes her some time to complete this. Turned away for follow up appointment without providing proper insurance card. Had inadvertently left my card at home. Showed my wife's card which had the correct ID # with The last number be 02 instead of the 02.. refused to see me. 40" drive for nothing. Will find a cardiology doctor that will work with me, not against me.The office could have verified the coverage, brut did not want to go the extra step. Poor patient care.
We feel both lucky and Blessed to have had Dr. Wilkinson on shift when my wife was needing emergency care. He is truely committed and you can tell that he really cares. Dr. Wilkinson takes the time to explain the situation in detail. I have full trust in his ability and dedication.
I was discharged from advent and advised to come to follow up with this doctor as told per discharge instructions, just for him to tell me there's nothing he can do for me and he's not sure why I'm here. Beyond baffled and disgusted.
He is very good and alot of knowledge on hearts. He is trying to get some testing done for me so we know what is going on. He is very helpful and nice to be around and he knows his business. I would recommend everyone to him
