Dr. Jacqueline Dowe is a board-certified and fellowship-trained cardiologist at the Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute. She has 20 years of experience caring for cardiology patients, and her office is in Orlando. Dr. Dowe received her medical training from the University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica. She completed an internal medicine residency and a general cardiology fellowship at the University of Miami's Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Dowe also completed a fellowship in advanced heart failure and transplantation at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Dr. Dowe is board-certified in internal medicine, general cardiology, advanced heart failure and transplantation, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.

I had an outstanding appointment. Dr. Dowe's staff was very friendly and informative, offering detailed responses to my many questions. Dr. Dowe is a specialist respected highly by her peers and gives detailed care to her patients. That I already understood, but what was really endearing to me is that she acted as a strong advocate on my behalf in pursuing approval from my insurance company for necessary procedures that had previously been denied. I trust that she and her staff will eventually find a way for me to receive that procedure. In addition to that, Dr. Dowe but me in touch with an awesome pharmacist, Gwen who helped me to find more affordable medication. Previously, I tried three different ways to get the medication and couldn't, but they made it happen. I am extremely grateful for the care I receive. I have a team of specialists, with outstanding staffs who all work in concert to insure that I receive the best treatment possible. I feel secure in my health journey, despite my many ailments, and it is because of dedicated medical professionals like Dr. Dowe.
