The front desk employee 6-5-25 3pm maroon scrubs, glasses, hair pulled back needs training on courtesy and professionalism. Rude and abrupt on the phone and to patients checking in. Her tone is awful and not a good fit as a front desk employee. And elderly lady went to use the restroom and could not get back in the office, the desk lady told her we keep it locked to keep patients from getting thru the door. Truly sad treatment of the elderly.

I'm giving 1 star (generous) because of one particular doctor - Dr Pollak. I've been coming to CFCG for over 20 years but my doctor left, so Pollak was assigned to me. I've worried about his competence following my last 2 visits, but today he laid down the straw that broke the camel's back. I checked with the room nurse, before she left the room, that the records she was about to give him included all the cardio issues of the last 10 days, and she confirmed she had it all. Pollak comes in the room and clearly hasn't read anything. He was clueless that I was in hospital 10 days ago WITH A CLOT IN MY LEFT ATRIUM! He asked me a question about Coumadin from about 15 years ago. He didn't know about any of the tests of the last 10 days. He asked if I've been prescribed Eliquis (I've been taking it twice a day for several years). I'm sure Pollak is a nice guy, but he's a liability to his practice and a danger to his patients. CFCG may still be a fine practice, but don't put your life in Pollak's hands - he has outlived his medical usefulness and should have retired some time ago. (He joined the practice almost 40 years ago and his photo on the website looks like it was taken at that time. He now looks unwell himself and has the shakes. This may sound harsh to bring up, but my heart is the core organ of my body, so it merits mention if the doctor assigned to keep it working as long as possible isn't competent and doesn't read critical data on me before entering the room).

From the receptionist to the medical assistant and then Dr Parikh, I love this practice! Everyone is pleasant and helpful. Today my wait time in the lobby ran a little long, which is unusual, but the receptionist kept me informed about the delay. I would highly recommend this physician and his staff!

Not a fan. Saw Dr Rodriguez in June who ordered blood work and calcium CT. I wanted to wait until January so I could address these diagnostics and other health concerns in one calendar year deductible. I called to get the prescription sent to radiology, and was denied the prescription because 6 months was too long and he'd have to see me again to make the referral. There was no change in symptoms, not that he asked. It would make more sense, and save me his office fee as well as valuable time, to make the prescription then meet with me to go over results. I won't be returning to this office.

The doctors are wonderful, however the front desk staff is unfriendly, rude and acts annoyed that your presence is interfering with their gossip hour. In the time I waited I heard how they all hate one person because she asks for too much vacation, what cars they want to buy and listened to one woman say "oh my god" like she's exasperated every time a new patient walks in. This is my first experience with a cardiovascular doctor and I'm quite nervous. Being treated like an inconvenience is only making it worse.
