I had a heart attack in 2009. Dr Duran was called in. He literally saved my life by figuring out it was hereditary from my Grandfather that died from sudden death at 50 years of age. Dr Duran figured out that with my Ventricular Tachycardia, it could be treated with medication only. 15 years later in 2024 I went back for a consult. He remembered me immediately and takes care of my heart issues even though I now live in SC. I cannot praise Dr Duran enough. He's so experienced, kind, thoughtful and the best Cardiac Dr I have ever met to this day. His staff is excellent! 20 stars for Dr Duran and his staff. He's the BEST.

I was extremely nervous for my first appointment. I was so hopeful that I would qualify for the watchman procedure. Javante came all the way out to the check-in desk to assure me that everything was all right and to check on me she's so caring and so kind. Next Josephina took me to the exam room to check me in and she too was so knowledgeable so comforting and so kind. Then Dr Duran came in and I was very nervous. He didn't just talk to my husband and myself to explain the procedure he actually put pen to paper and diagrammed it and such a way that anyone is capable of understanding exactly what the procedure is. He asked me about myself and I talked about my grandchildren. He said that grandmothers are very important and he thinks that I might make a good candidate for the watchman. The joy I felt and still do feel is really indescribable along with the relief of a lot of stress. Couldn't help myself I admit tears came to my eyes. Everyone should be so lucky to have a doctor's appointment that affects their lives in so many wonderful ways because of so many wonderful people thank you just doesn't seem enough.
