Overall disappointed in this office at the Chickasaw location because 1) the parking is horrible, why overload your facilities with appointments if there are no places for people to park?
2) I had an appointment scheduled and had a referral sent to my email , I called this office where my appointment was scheduled a day early and told them I had a referral and asked if they could use my referral for the test needed and I was given several answers that didn't make sense one being that the doctor had to see me for a regular appointment in order to order this test ( even though I had been here less than a year ago). The girl on the phone said bring the referral with me when I come in.
So the day of my appointment comes and I am checking after the long walk from the parking lot and she looks stunned that I have a referral already, she said I should have told them in advance . Anyways this was very upsetting and confusing and none of it made since other than they wanted to bill me twice.

I am writing this review not because my appointment was mistakenly canceled, but to express my deep concern about the unprofessional and disrespectful behavior of a staff member named Debbie.(FRONT DESK)
I arrived at the clinic around 9:30 a.m. for a scheduled stress test. I was informed that my appointment had been canceled. While I understand mistakes can happen and this may not have been Debbie's fault, I calmly explained that I had confirmed the appointment the day before at 1:37 p.m. and had no part in canceling it.
Debbie responded with an incredibly rude and confrontational attitude. She demanded that I show her my phone to prove I had spoken with someone from the office. This behavior was inappropriate and humiliating.
When it came time to discuss payment, I had my credit card ready and was fully prepared to pay the $15 co-pay. Debbie asked for the last digits of my card and made an uncalled-for comment about me having "too many credit cards" on file, as if this was a problem or my fault.
Throughout the interaction, I remained calm and respectful, but I was met with dismissiveness and hostility. For anyone reviewing patient interactions.
Based on my experience, I truly believe Debbie does not enjoy or value her role in patient care. Her attitude clearly reflects someone who is unhappy in their position. I strongly urge Advent Health to re-evaluate whether she is suited for a front-line role in healthcare. I firmly believe she should be removed from this position immediately.
No patient, especially one concerned about their heart health, should ever be treated this way.
Here's a more polished version of your message that keeps the original sentiment while sounding more professional:
I'm giving 3 stars only because the doctor SAURAB AGGARWAL and Ray Mckoever, the stress test nurse, were absolutely wonderful--kind, caring, and professional. I will definitely return and continue care with this doctor. However, my experience with Debbie was disappointing; it felt like she truly dislikes her job, which affected the overall visit.

Dr. Kim and Dr. Monir are outstanding providers; however the Office lacks organization, responses, and needs improvement. I also called the answering service to consult something with the provider on-call and they never returned my call. Lack of commitment? I'd like not to believe that's what it is; however recent visits to this practice is showing the entire office needs a very thorough review of processes.... maybe a performance improvement project will help !!

Advent Health & Rothman Orthopedic should get on the same page, you should not be charging a patient twice for the same service.
Either advent health charge for the surgeon services or the surgeon. Not both at the same time.
Also you should train your staff to listen and look for solutions.
It's incredible how unprofessional your staff is at the time to deal with a patient.

This may be long but please read!! I went post Covid. I had been hospitalized and was very ill. My PCP found something abnormal in my EKG. The EKG had been performed twice so she thought it was necessary for me to see a cardiologist. I wanted to schedule my appointments 2 weeks out and was told that if my appointment had not been scheduled before 2 weeks I would be dismissed as a patient and not be seen. I was unable to give my employer 2 weeks notice. I went in. During my appointment the EKG leads were placed on me incorrectly. They were slapped on the assistant rushed through it and did not look over her placement of the leads. I wanted to speak with the doctor and have the EKG done again, have the leads placed and have the doctor take a look and make sure they were placed correctly so they would get an accurate reading. The doctor came in I had explained the situation. He lifted the paper and said this is a reading right here. I said yes I understand that's a reading my concern is that it won't be accurate based on the placement of the leads. He gave me a dirty look and said this is a reading right here this is accurate. I asked a few questions and asked Dr. Hashemi (not sure if that is the correct spelling) if it was possible to get an inaccurate reading if the leads were not placed correctly. He would not answer the question I already knew the answer too. He held up the paper pulled on it to make a snapping sound gave me a dirty look and cold hard stare and said do you want the results or not. I repeated I would like for you to please have the EKG done over and I' m asking you questions that you won't answer. He said hold on walked out of the room and had the assistant as well as the office manager come and dismiss me from the practice. At that point I was now very upset and I explained to the office manager the situation and my question was, "as the patient if I feel that something isn't done correctly isn't it my right to ask it be done over?" She replied "yes." The assistant began to defend her work stating that the reason the leads were not placed on my legs was because they are allowed to do that for amputees and my jeans are too tight. My jeans were not so tight that the leads could not be placed. She continued making excuses and I began to ignore her and the office manager very rudely stated to the assistant " she has already made her assumptions, she's not going to listen to you don't waste your time." So there was no point in speaking to me. This was after she stated she was not a medical professional and could not answer any of my questions and knew nothing about how an EKG is performed but agreed that it is my right to request it be done over. This whole ordeal could've been avoided if I had been heard as a patient. Patient care is based off of the needs of the patient and not what the doctor feels or does not feel like doing. The behavior was rude, unprofessional and not in my best interest as a patient. I would never recommend anyone see this doctor. I also stated my age and that although I look much younger, which I believe is the reason I was not taken seriously all patients are important. I have somewhat of a medical background myself. I have performed EKG's in the past so I knew what I was saying, even though I had forgotten about the placement of the leads for the amputees, which I am not. With Covid on the rise as they say and people as young as 30 dying of massive heart failure, and surviving a serious case or Covid this is very disappointing as a patient to see that a doctor does not care about a potential patient. A little bit of professionalism and a listening ear can save many lives. This is how every person should be treated regardless of age, appearance and race which I believe all played a factor in my lack of care. I'm 43 look 25, and I am Hispanic but look African American due to my Dominican background.
