Chen Senior Medical Center

Chen is the best clinic. Dr. Melendez has treated both my mom and dad for years! My dad unfortunately passed away but went to Chen for a very long time, and even in his very last moments he was extremely grateful with Dr Melendez and everything he did for him. A doctor that goes above and beyond for his patients. There is not enough doctors left in the medical field like Dr. Melendez, he is a gem. Highly recommend this clinic and this doctor, the staff is amazing as well. Thank you Chen clinic, for your amazing service!

This Opa-Locka office gets Zero Stars. This office needs to be investigated. Chen medical will not provide referrals for patients to specialist doctors who are not Chen Doctors. This is absolutely insane. If the patient requests, the referral should be given. It's been over 30 days and my mom still doesn't have her referral. I will be contacting the DBPR to file a complaint and open an investigation. If you are a patient with them, I suggest you find a New primary. There is something very suspicious going on by Chen not wanting to give referrals to other specialist doctors when patient's insurance certainly allows for it. It was just one simple referral and we keep having to reschedule as Chen has given excuse after excuse. This is definitely getting reported until things change for the better of the patients. I will be going to the news media and social media to bring their issues to light. "NO CHOICE...NO CHEN!"

I l I love the staff the little time that I've been going to opa locka Chan medical Erica and Vanessa is phenomenal they go above and beyond for me I would not trade them two for nothing even my doctor saki I love him there he motivated meand be he encouraging me to want better for my health

I've been a long time patient of Chen's office in Opalocka, Fl since 1989 and has received very good treatment by Dr Bui Luong. He is very direct, listen to your concerns and gives you feedback. If there's suggestions or changes need to be made on your health he would advise you. The nurses, are pleasant and front staff always greet you and make you feel welcomed. Deloris Knights..7/3/25
