Omeni Osian, MD, is a board certified cardiothoracic surgery specializing in performing coronary bypass, aortic valve repair, and other cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures. Dr Osian attended medical school at the University of Virginia and completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Florida. Dr Osian has received numerous accolades in recognition of his surgical expertise. During his time at University of Florida, he received the award for Academic Excellence in General surgery and at the University of Virginia. He also hold the position as the Surgical Director of the Mechanical Circulatory Support Program a AdventHealth Ocala.

I recently met Dr. Osian, the surgeon who will soon be replacing my aortic valve, and the team who works with him including Dawn ARNP, Jennifer in scheduling, and medical assistants..most of my pre admission tests are completed including CT scan and ECHO..I am absolutely impressed with all the staff I have met..they are very professional, extremely knowledgable, and friendly..they have explained the surgery and made me feel totally comfortable and at ease..they have answered all of my questions with the utmost patience..I am very confident in Dr. Osian's expertise and feel ready for the surgery that lays ahead..and the Lord has me in His hands

I was referred to the practice because I needed to have an aneurysm repaired. I chose Dr. Osian because he's the best! When I showed for my first appointment, the man just oozed confidence and compassion for his patients. We spoke and I told him that i have a long standing date for the daytona 500. He turns to the np and says "what can we do". She said we can go on Tuesday. His response? "Don't you remember i have a long weekend? I want to be here in case something happens". Next Tuesday? Booked. Anxiety set in. Now its the big day and here he is. Smiling and cool as a cucumber. He does his magic and now it's 8 days post op and I am a new man. He claims to be just a surgeon... I submit that this man is a genius. Should you ever be in the unfortunate position to need his services, don't exclude before you talk.

Dr. Osian was my surgeon for aortic valve replacement. He was the most compassionate, concerned, professional and personable surgeon. He (and his team) took such amazing care of me. I have referred several patients to him since my surgery. He saved my life. For that, I am extremely grateful!
