Dr. Mehta is an Interventional Cardiologist with the ability to place stents in the heart. He has privileges at all three Ocala Hospitals and performs his Catheterizations at HCA West Marion and HCA Ocala Hospitals. In clinic he follows patients cardiac needs, including cardiac medications, cardiac clearance, ordering and reading Echos, stress test, ABIs, Carotid ultrasound, Venous and Arterial ultrasounds, EKGs, holter monitors, event monitors, ect.

This office is Horrible i had a appt scheduled in may i went in personaly explained to them had a death in family had to leave state about 1 month when i got back i went in on a Fri to try to reschedule and i was told she was gone for the day will call me on monday 19 days later i get a call from Rachel on a Sat i asked why so long to get a call back she really started being very rude and yelled im entitled to a vacation aint i I said of course but dont you have someone that fills in for you when your gone she got very mad and said not going to fight with me and hung up! this is the only cardiologist in area will take my insurance and i discovered last week through scan i now have 3 heart issues, i need treatment no idea what to do i finaly got through again today and i was told they wont see me anymore i have done NOTHING wrong except deal with a very rude woman named rachel i have no idea how she has a job at this office! I going to do everything possible to expose her to get fired even contacting medical board of Fl she dont get to treat a sick patient that way and get off scott free to do it to another very sad as i liked Dr Metha but this has really put me in a bad spot

I saw the Dr. Mehta when I was at West Marion HCA last March/April of 2024. I feel he didn't communicate with my Electrophysiologist because they discharged me sick and close to death. I was forced to drive myself to University of Florida Shands Adult failure program where Dr. ALEX PARKER proceeded to put me in the ICU immediately. I ended up being in the hospital non stop until recently when I had a heart transplant. HCA West Marion is a horrible hospital!
