Do not waste your time. I arrived at 10:00 AM and it is now 2:00 PM and I am still waiting to be seen. The delays are extreme and unacceptable, especially for people seeking medical care. If you need timely attention, this is not the place. Patient care and wait-time management need serious improvement.

I made an appointment with Dr Lucita Clersaint, podiiatrist just as a follow up and to get a referral for diabetic shoes. After speaking with her and her assistant, Edna, I was so excited to write this review. Dr Clersaint was prifessional, friendly, thorough and most of all she was patient and listened. She explained why I was feeling uncomfortable on my left foot. She suggested a specific pad for calluses to use and even search on the internet for one that was not so expensive. I told her although I put lotion on my feet, when I wake up they are still dry. She sent a prescription for the lotion she wants me to use and looked on the internet for several other options. She examined my feet and removed the calluses. She requsted my referral for my shoes and told me that it would come with directions on which companies my insurance covered. I highly recommend Dr. Clearsaint. Kudos to her assistant Edna also.

Unfortunately, this place has great doctors available but it's ran so poorly. Like many other reviews here, I waited 3+ hours to be seen. The nurses get my blood pressure and send me back to the waiting room to "calm down" when the only reason why my blood pressure was high it was because I was sitting there FOR MORE THAN 3 HOURS! Why give an appointment and ask people to be early if you're never going to take them on time? I sat there while I listened to the staff talk and sing happy birthday to someone, then coming out with cake, food and drinks while the waiting room is full of patients to be seen. I arrived to the clinic at 12:50 and left at 5:14pm HOW IS THIS ACCEPTABLE AT ALL? Lastly, my medication never got to the pharmacy, so now I'm stuck calling the doctor for them to resend them, which it has been 3 days with no success. It's like their intention is to make this process as difficult and tedious as possible. and when you complain, you get hit with "this is a community health center so the wait is expected" or "you need to calm down because it's not good for your baby" I'm sorry but that's a cheap excuse for your lack of organization. There is no respect for people's time. The nurses often look at you like you're an inconvenience, coming here is just asking to get pissed off honestly. I can't wait to be transferred to an actual serious clinic where everything functions properly. But blaming your lack of good service, response time, and organization on you being a community health center is just laughable. What a joke of an institution.

I went to this place, the receptionist was very nice my star is for them but I waited for a long time, there is an endocrinologist im not gonna say your name cause I respect people she was so rude,i was on the phone with my sister she was surprised the way she talked to me. Girl,If you have an attitude or a problem, don't take it out on the patient, that's not ethical." "If you're having a bad day or personal issues, don't let it affect how you treat the patient -- that's unprofessional.

Second time I come to the Miami Beach community health center for my daughter-in-law's pregnancy appointment. The second time I'm here and her appt was for 12 and it's now 2:02 and we're still waiting. I mean I get it if you didn't have insurance but they have insurance! people have a life. They have other places and appt to go to as well. Just sitting here waiting for over two hours is ridiculous. The first time we waited an hour and 15 minutes and I thought that was a lot.!
