Dr. Madeleen Mas is the medical director of pediatric cardiology at UHealth Jackson Children's Care. She earned her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, completed her residency at Baylor College of Medicine, and pursued a fellowship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center. She is board-certified in pediatric cardiology and specializes in pediatric and adult congenital heart disease, fetal cardiology, arrhythmias, cardiomyopathy, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, heart failure, and sports cardiology.

Dr. Mas is nothing short of incredible, and so is her staff. Her bedside manner is incomparable - I was referred to her on a same-day basis, and arrived to her office sobbing. Her staff is professional and supportive, Oscar was simply one of the nicest, most caring professionals I have had the pleasure of seeing, and her office team is efficient, helpful and so kind. Having Dr. Mas take care of me, my husband, and my baby on such a difficult day was a blessing. Thank you!
I was charged $3500 for a single visit - is that pricey? I'm genuinely terrified considering how costly and messed up our healthcare system is. I felt almost coerced by a provider to visit here for a pregnancy scan, which I found unnecessary. It seems incredibly crazy to pay almost $4000 for a single scan when you can deliver three babies at a premium hospital elsewhere. God forbid Miami and these providers. I regret my decision. They didn't clearly discuss the billing process. The bill was sent to me 4 months later. They messed up by not adding the insurance info, and still, despite all this, $4000. God save this healthcare system - it's sad that this is the case with Miami.
Dr. Mas and her team are extraordinary. The team is professional, caring, and certainly exemplify what any team should be within pediatric care. My husband and I have been to several technicians with our daughter at a different facility. Our experiences were horrible, each time. However, Oscar was amazing! He was professional and caring. An echo on a 2-year-old is no easy task, yet he conducting the entire exam with such patience and ease. Dr. Mas and her NP were also just as patient. Dr. Mas took time to explain and review exams. I highly recommend this team to parents.
I preface this review with the fact that I'm a cardiologist myself. Dr Mas is absolutely brilliant and her staff is top notch and amazing. Their bedside manner is second to none and Dr Mas' brilliance shines through. I cannot recommend her highly enough and it's a blessing she is in Miami
We love Dr Mas... she is like family to us... my son has been seeing her since he was born he is now almost 11 yrs old. She is not only an amazing person who really cares about all her patients but an amazing doctor as well. We will stay with her forever.....
