Dr. Efrain H. Gonzalez, MD

I was a patient of Dr. E. Gonzalez for a few years. My experience with him was very poor. He wouldn't even listen to my heart during my office visit. I never felt he was interested in helping me stay healthy. My primary doctor told better care of me and my heart. I strongly recommend you fine a different cardiologist.

Think twice about having this charming but negligent Dr take care of you or your loved one. He put a pace maker on my mom. He plugged it wrong. Gave her NEW meds becuase he would get a kick back from them. The meds gave her ALL the side effect symptoms. He sent her a decide to monitor the pace maker at home. He did NOT keep up with the readings. Long story short the pace maker since he placed it wrong weakened my moms heart at now we are in the hospital with CHF and need another heart surgery. TAKE this man's license before he causes more problems!!!

not such a good experience. the doctor always looks in a hurry. he is very quick to give u an explanation to explain why you might be having your symptoms, as if he was 99% sure of it. i personally dont like it. last time he was going to recommend another doctor for a sleep study and 3 weeks has passed and i haven't been contacted with the information. not saying he is a bad doctor, but personally i would look for a second opinion on my concerns.

13 Nov 2025 First visit: Office staff and doctor helped me from beginning to end contrary to many other practices, Dr. Gonzalez is a keeper.

I recently had the opportunity to have an appointment with Dr. Gonzalez, and I was extremely pleased with his friendliness, professionalism, and patience during my visit. He took the time to explain everything to me in terms that I would understand and answered all of my questions. He is truly a warm and caring doctor, I am so glad that I was referred to him.
