Brevard Cardiology Group

I will absolutely not be going back to Brevard Cardiology again. Not because the doctor himself said I didn't need to, or because he dismissed my previous doctors obvious concerns no matter how slight, or because the medicine I've been on which clearly states in the information sheet that stopping it could cause heart attack or stroke, and I have no way of refilling it without a heart doctor, but because of EVERY LAST ONE OF THESE REASONS. I was told there was nothing wrong with my heart, according to my records, though he noted that it was stated by my last cardiologist that I have PVC. This isn't life threatening, UNLESS it becomes recurrent which can cause damage to the heart muscle. It's been going on since 2018! I'd say that's a big problem, and without the meds...well I won't have to worry... Stay away from this office. My first contact with a cardiologist in Florida, and I'm wishing I could move back home.

So I needed a refill on one of my heart meds. I called my cardiologist last week on Tuesday and left a message because that's what you have to do. They said to give them 3 days and do not leave multiple messages. So I followed their instructions. By the end of Friday I hadn't heard back from them or the pharm about the prescription. On Monday morning (yesterday) I went in to the office and told them my story and the lady said she would give a note to the nurse and I should have the med by 5:00. Nope. Didn't happen. So I called them again this morning and talked to the same lady. She said she would give the nurse another note and mark it urgent. I asked her to call me if there was a problem. Never heard a word. Why can't someone just make a phone call. !!!!

The best cardiologist ever! Very compassionate and caring, helped my 80 year old mother with her aortic valve replacement a couple of years ago. He referred her to specialists at University of Florida to perform TAVR which is a less evasive procedure. My mother continues to see him every 6 months for follow up visits. He is a physician that is on top of his game with the newest procedures and practices. I have referred family and friends to him. I feel blessed that he helped my mother with her heart!

Horrible doctor, wouldn't recommend him to anyone. Cares nothing of your time, but only his. Will leave you at the hospital for hours for a procedure, knowing he doesn't even come til hours later. More importantly, he bites his nails on a grand scale. There must be some issues there. Nervous type...

First off, they NEVER answer the phone, and NEVER return the call after leaving a message. High volume of calls is bull. They just like blowing you off.
