About Dr. Mohamed Omer, MD
Dr. Mohamed Omer is a board-certified cardiologist with Orlando Health Medical Group FHV Health. He specializes in interventional cardiology with expertise in complex coronary artery disease, peripheral arterial disease, echocardiography and cardiac stress testing. He received his medical training at Assiut University in Egypt and completed a residency at the University of Missouri at Kansas City. Dr. Omer also completed fellowships in cardiovascular disease at Saint Luke's Mid America Heart Institute in Kansas City and in interventional cardiology at Abbott Northwestern Hospital/Minneapolis Heart Institute. He is certified by the American Board of Echocardiography, American Board of Internal Medicine and American Board of Nuclear Medicine.
