Doctor Doerner is one of the best doctors I have seen. He was patient with me and explained everything in a way I could understand it. He took my concerns seriously and made a plan that is appropriate to what I have been experiencing. I would recommend him over and over.
Unfortunately his check out staff was less than kind to me. I watched her interaction with the elderly person ahead of me, where she was very kind - but the moment I stepped up she was short with me and less than kind and outright rude, even though I had previously expressed that I was not in a rush and had no problem with the delay in getting taken care of as she was the only one working and was patient while waiting for my turn. I would have accepted that perhaps she was overwhelmed as they were short staffed, but the interaction that happened ahead of me was such a different experience that I cannot imagine it was just an overall thing for her.

I don't have enough positive things to say about HCA Florida Heart Institute in Largo! I have been coming to this practice the entire month of June and I have never waited for any of my appointments. Everyone is prompt and efficient. From the front desk staff, the nurse's and specialists to Dr. Doerner, I have been very pleased. Dr. Doerner was very thorough and took his time to explain the next steps and what to expect moving forward.
