Dr. Vivek Kumar

I cannot say enough about how helpful Dr. Kumar has been. His knowledge and expertise are a breath of fresh air. He doesn't send me for unnecessary tests and truly takes the time to listen to my concerns, working to find real solutions. His team is warm, friendly, and always willing to accommodate my busy schedule. I feel truly blessed to have found such an amazing, thoughtful, and caring doctor--one of the few left with a remarkable bedside manner. My partner needed to go to cardiologist so I did some research to see who lived near us and made an appointment with Dr Kumar. At first it seemed like he knew what he was talking about so we went for all the tests that was suggested. Our second visit was with one of his PAs who was horrendous he kept on telling him that my partner should decide whether or not he wants to take the medication and he should basically self prescribe for himself. After that we refuse to see that PA as my partner's symptoms got worse I started to do some research and also knew somebody who had amyloidosis which is a rare disease I can't affect the heart he had to be hospitalized because his heart failure was getting really bad with that I asked the doctor I asked Dr Kumar to please test start testing him for amyloidosis there are about five different ways to test this some come out positive some come out negative but you have to do a multitude of these tests. Moving forward Dr Kumar did not think it was amyloidosis I kept on pushing for the simple blood test although that was not really enough and he finally after months and months of telling me it wasn't gave him the blood test and bingo it was a waste of time hospitalized because he had a lot of fluid in his heart sack which Dr Kumar removed and asked him to please please do a biopsy of his heart he said no because it wasn't amyloidosis finally he realized it was and it really was too late the kind of animal doses that my partner has is a death sentence and Dr Kumar even told him that you probably have a year to live who made him God if you love your life you'll find a different cardiologist I could go on and on because there's much more but I think you get the gist of what I'm trying to say

Dr Kumar and his staff are amazing! Dr Kumar is patient, extremely knowledgeable, and really listens to my concerns. I saw him for the first time last month and needed his expertise. He switched my medication and I'm like a new person. I'm so grateful for him. His staff is also knowledgeable, helpful, and return phone calls in a timely manner. I highly recommend Dr Kumar and his practice. Thankful for his help!

I'm in the process of switching to Dr Kumar's practice. Chelsea is my point of contact and has been Kind, Considerate, Patient and very thorough in retrieving all my Cardiologist information from previous years. I know she is very busy, however she has gone above and beyond in every aspect to get me in ASAP to see Dr. Kumar. Thank you Chelsea for being so kind!

Was recommended to Dr. Kumar and had heard good things as well as good reviews, however, this was absolutely not the case for me. Out of numerous unnecessary appointments, I saw him one time, and after that, never saw the same person twice. Every other appointment was rescheduled due to "training" or the staff were "out of the office." Changes/updates to my medical plan were not followed through. After bringing this to their attention, it resulted in added and unnecessary testing/appointments leading me to feel as though money was the driven factor. I would never recommend this unorganized and apathetic practice to anyone who takes their health seriously.
