Patient
The most disorganized practice I've ever experienced. My primary care doctor left the state and for some reason my information got transferred to this office. I have surgery coming up in less than a month and need pre-op clearance. First, I was scheduled for May 9th, then they called me and let me know that the doctor doesn't work that day and rescheduled me for May 12th. I spoke to Yoshawna and she said that I needed to be on the phone with her for an hour to update my patient profile as they cannot do it the day of my appointment, I agreed and then she said she cant do it that day that she'd call me back. She also gave me the wrong fax number twice for my surgeon to send the pre-op paperwork. She never called back so I called again and she said she was too busy and couldn't do it that she'd call back...again. I agree, and she never called back. So then I called, and turns out she got fired. Then the person I talked to said the same thing and that they would for sure call back, nobody ever called back. When I called and spoke to a different person Tara, she said that this wasn't necessary and that my profile was already updated but that she needed my surgeons pre-op paperwork. I said that this would be the third time my surgeon is sending the paperwork but she confirmed it was the right fax number this time. It wasn't. It got to the point where the surgical coordinator had to call the office herself and stay on the phone with them until they confirmed that they received it. I called today because I got an email to confirm my May 12th appointment and my May 13th appointment? I had never heard of a May 13th appointment. Then Tara tells me that the doctor wont be there on the 12th so it got changed to the 13th. But no one ever let me know and this will now be the third time changing my job schedule. And guess what? I asked her if she received my pre-op paperwork and she said "yes" and 30 seconds later she said "did they send the pre-op? I don't see it here." When the surgeon CONFIRMED with whomever was on the phone that day that it was received. and then proceeded to leave me on hold for 20 minutes. This office is literally a night mare and no one in there is talking to each other. It makes absolutely no sense. This surgery is for preventative CANCER care and they are making this process 1000000x harder than it should be. Stay far far away from this office.
