I made some bad experiences with Dr practices over the years. Tramatic at times.
First and foremost, Dr ALLAM is cool as" open Dinner invite, Roll through, No need to call type thing... I'm not just saying that. it is evident he had a Divine appointment to be a doctor. extremely intelligent, compassionate, empathetic, straight shooter, serious when needs to be, but will crack you up, listens. I'm not seeking adoption or permanent care.
Thank you Dr Allam, you know I love you!
Sheena is another a rarity. She she went so far over and Beyond so many times.I have a tendency to bug a wee bit when it comes to medical- medications of coming trips upcoming appointments etc . I'm certain I stressed her more than the average at times. however she was so patient so kind understanding. very competent and effective. on it like a bluebonnet she is!
SHEENA Sincerely, Thank You for all you do for me and do. You impact those who cross your path in such a positive beautiful way! More than you are aware! Keep smiling ,yours projects even over the phone!

Dr Mahesh Allam "IS" my husband's general and lung doctor. He, has the best bedside manners We've encountered in Central Florida after my husband's diagnose with stage 3B lung cancer in 2015. We went through several Drs in search for a true doctor. One who actually cares about people. Dr. Allam, we love you.

I have been seeing Dr Allam, as my primary care Dr retired a few months ago. My first visit went ok. I have been working to find out where my stomach pain is coming from. He has ordered some blood work, as well as had me have an ultrasound of my stomach. We, still have not figured out the cause of the pain. I have been taking pain meds as needed, which is very seldom. Only take them once or twice a month when things are really bad. So, I had a follow up appointment with him today, and he almost had me in tears. He told me my last test results were all ok. We decided that was good. Then, he started asking about my anxiety, I told him I have been taking the prescribed medication to help with that. He asked if I was seeing a psychologist, I said no not right now. I was trying to explain that my insurance charges me a high copay for the visit, and the drive is far. I told him with all of the tests that have been ordered, I can't afford to see all of these drs. I told him that because of my disability, I am now on a fixed income. He then, swung around on his chair, and said Anissa, which he pronounced wrong, and he said, maybe it's time to buck up. I said what does that mean? He said maybe it's time you grow up. I just sat there in disbelief. I said what? (BTW, I am 49 years old.) I haven't had anyone say that to me since I was a child. Especially from a professional. . He said you need to grow up and go to a psychologist to get my anxiety under control. He said that is what is causing all of your problems. I said , but I am throwing up, and running fevers. He said you have a fever now? I said no one took my temperature, so I don't know. He was speaking loud and he said you will no longer be getting narcotics from this office.I don't know what that had to do with anything. I told him I still had most of what he gave me left from a few months ago. He said well that's good then. I said I didn't even ask you for pain meds. He then got loud again, and said I don't find anything wrong with you! It's your anxiety causing all of your problems. There's nothing I can do for you. Then he said Understand? I said yup, and got up from the chair to leave. My feelings were so hurt. He spoke to me as if I were a child. I didn't even have words to respond at this point. I am going to file a grievance with my insurance. Not sure what that will do, but .... That visit definitely did not help my depression and anxiety. Would not recommend him to anyone if you have a lot of problems that are difficult to diagnose. He doesn't want to take the time. He was very judgmental and had no right to be. Very unprofessional and unpleasant man..
