Dr. Bernard is a wonderful physician. I thought I was going blind and the first doctor I saw didn't tell me my condition was operable. Dr. Bernard was kind and calming. He also helped my family when my husband got cancer. I can't say enough about him. As far as his staff, they are equally wonderful. Every single nurse, tech and employee were so kind and helpful! I'd like to personally thank Brittany, Peyton, Nicole, Angel and Elvana! I would name everyone who works at the Florida Retina Institute because they are the best! I highly recommend Dr. Bernard and his beautiful Staff!

I wish I could have given them 5 stars. The care and attention to detail deserves the full 5 stars. They were extraordinarily busy; the appointment time overall was about 2 hours. Lots of people there. They did very thorough preparation and testing. Everyone was very professional and pleasant. Dr Leon has a very comforting, professional and confident demeanor. The confidence in the care and evaluation I received were worth the long appointment time.

I see Dr Cunningham used to be twice a year now after this last visit will go to once a year. He has the best bedside manner is always positive and friendly and genuinely so. The rest of the staff is also mostly very nice. I just wish I could also do a field of vision test there as well so I could be done in one stop.

Highly professional and friendly staff. Wait time was short and the staff was highly competent with each machine I was lead to. The doctor was very professional and answered all my questions. He introduced the possibility for me to join a study with a new product, however I later was told by the study group I was disqualified due to previous surgery that was done on my eye.
