Dr. Mathias is wonderful! He took his time with me. He reviewed the labs and notes I brought him. He spoke with me respectfully and listened to me. He showed empathy and was thorough in his examinations. He explained things to me and allowed me to ask questions. He was kind and caring as a doctor should be. I was referred to Dr, Mathias by my PCP who told me if he or anyone in his family had a heart issue Dr. Mathias is where he would go; we trust our PCP's and I was not disappointed at all, Dr. Mathias has such a great bedside manner, takes his time to thoroughly go through not just the records and meds but he focused on how I was feeling and what has been going on that prompted my visit; gave me 4 options but what stuck out to me was the multiple times throughout my visit he asked do you have any questions as opposed to waiting until the end of the visit...he genuinely cares
