This is worst place to look for medical care. I had appointment scheduled 3 months in advance after great research of doctors, everything confirmed. I called them 1 week prior to my appointment because i had not received the reminder email, they said the system cancelled the appointment but never sent me an email, the customer service mentioned they will talk to higher to let me know what they can do, also offered me other doctors to whom i would have gone without waiting for 3-4 months, but never heard back from them, just for all to be cautious if you are new patient be extra cautious and try to avoid this business location and the doctors here.

They deserve no stars. Very unhappy with the staff. Front office representatives are the worst and so unprofessional!!! My elderly father, who I take care of, received a call from Gabby regarding an appointment tomorrow. My father gave Gabby permission to talk to his daughter, me, about the call on his behalf because he just took his medication and wants me to handle it for him. Once he passed the phone to me, Gabby tells me she's Not authorized to speak with me & can only talk to the patient. I questioned her and asked her why can't she talk to me after my father gave authorization for her talk to me, & Gabby hung up the call. That was very rude and so unprofessional as I'm trying to assist my father. Why is she ignoring his request??? I find it interesting that they can speak to me when I need to schedule an appt for him or cancel but today was very different & very uncalled for. That was very disrespectful and I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. I called back, a different lady by the name of Marie picked up the call, she knew exactly who I was and says, her coworker is following protocols, which i understand then proceeded to ask if the patient verbally authorizes you to speak to the daughter, why can't you talk to me, & she tells me she will have a manager call me instead. I've never had an issue speaking on my father's behalf when he gives the staff permission to speak with me until today. I will no longer be bringing my father here anymore.

I routinely see PA Victoria. She's great. Her supervising physician, Dr Rasmussen is less than impressive. Last summer, I thought I might have strep...during telemedicine visit, she told me she thought it could be heartburn. Ummm, no.
This week, I developed a wicked sore throat and horrible cough. A friend had Covid, so I tested...and it's positive. I sent a portal message and was able to get cough tablets.
But they are not strong enough to control the cough and let me sleep.
Today, Friday, I sent a portal message at 7:50 am
At 9:00 I called and spoke to a nurse because I know they don't see patients Friday afternoon.
I called again at 4:00 because I hadn't heard anything.
At 5:15 the nurse (or medical assistant) calls me to say that I probably need to be seen. I mentioned that when I called at 9 that would have been a good time to tell me since they were actually open.
Instead, she suggested I go to Urgent care...although I'm Covid positive and supposed to isolate, and their office is closed.
When I pointed out that I'm Covid positive, the poor nurse backtracked a bit. And I asked her why the doctor didn't call me directly because honestly the nurse can't really do anything.
I do not understand why she won't just call in a small bottle of cough syrup to control my cough and let me sleep.
I told the nurse I would be sure to tell everyone at urgent care that Dr Rasmussen told me to go into their office instead of giving me the medicine I probably need.
This is a great example of what is wrong with our healthcare system in America.

It seems that the practice continues to take on new patients but isn't providing more staff. I have had to visit MD Now Urgent Care more than once because I couldn't get an appointment with Family Medicine at Hunters Creek in a timely manner. I have been happy with MD Now Urgent Care and will continue to visit them as needed.
Family Medicine hasn't been the same since Dr. Mojicar left the practice many years ago.

This was a wonderful location under Dr. Mojicar but after he left the place fell apart. Last straw was when they called and told me the Doctor needed to see me immediately even though I didn't have an appointment scheduled. Told them I was on vacation but they wanted me there next morning at 8:00am so I drove three hours to get back to Kissimmee. When I got there it was the PA and NOT the doctor who scheduled the appointment. They wanted to review a blood test from my cardiologist. The test was fine and no change from my previous tests. I asked why they made me drive 3 hours for no good reason and was told it was office policy. Long story short I disputed the charge with their office and after an escalation to Florida Hospital Management it was reversed. This office is trying to run up billing dollars and I would avoid as there are much better choices close by ... they are awful.
