Too young to be a cardiologist and deal with older patients who had heart attacks before. I was prescribed small dise Valium with baby aspirin daily as I have PTSD. Also had a heart attack 8 years ago. Had no problem with my main care, doctors and regular doctors in Pompano Beach Florida this new doctor even after he did an echocardiogram and I had a CAT scan and everything is fine. Will not prescribe my Valium ! So he'd rather me have a stroke or another heart attack. What are medical schools doing? Valium is a harmless drug. If you look it up it's less harmless than Tylenol but yet I went to an oral surgeon and Jupiter and they wanted to give me fentanyl to pull my tooth. I refuse so they gave me ketamine, which I didn't realize that the time was another bad drug. They will give you addicting hard-core poisonous drugs, but they won't prescribe a simple Valium that will save your life and a trip to the hospital, which will save the insurance company tons of money!!!

Went to Dr. Gardner for a second opinion and he dismissed my symptoms. Said I was healthy and to push myself to workout. I followed my instincts and went for a third opinion. This time with a female cardiologist she suggested lab work, more scans, and Bam! I now know the reason for my heart issues. I don't understand why most male dictors often dismissed women's symptoms or attributed to anxiety. If you need a third or fourth opinion, do it. I'm just happy that I finally find out my issue and on the road to good health.

I was just sent over to dr gardner to check an abnormality on an ekg. The anesthesiologist postponed a surgery until I got a positive checkup from dr gardner. First dr gardner asked how i got here. Then he wrote down alchholism which surprised me. When I met with him my bp was running high. I had left bundle branch block which didn't appear to be a problem according to him. He's never mentioned it as being so after I went through the stress test. Its there and it held up the surgery but his job was to determine if I was stable. I'm stable as I thought I would be. One thing that has happened since I was injected with the blood dilation iv is I'm having very uncomfortable overheating and profuse sweating now 2 weeks after the test. That's not anything that could happen from the test according to dr gardner. I'm sure he's a great dr but not for me.
