First Coast Cardiovascular Institute: Brett Sasseen, MD

Thought I was going to see Lamba. With no advance information, Dr. Sasseen came and said he worked with Lamba. He spent most of the visit at the computer. Very little interaction other than verifying my chart info. Hands on the listen to my heart only. (Notes say he looked at any edema - he did not). Ordered additional medicine which was ordered wrong at pharmacy. Still waiting. Ordered 2 month follow up with echo. NOT PLEASED AT ALL!!!! Won't see him again.

Saw Dr. Sasseen in my regular cardiologist, Dr Lamba's absence. Dr. Sasseen was friendly and professional. He took care of my concerns and explained the change of meds in a clear and concise manner. I felt confident with his decision and don't feel the need to follow up with Dr. Lamba upon his return.

Dr. Sasseen listened to my concerns and presented a very balanced approach to further diagnosis and treatment. This was my first visit( based on referral) and I look forward to working with him. I am already reading a book(Mastering Diabetes) he recommended.

Every person from the doctor to the receptionist, schedulers, and technicians were so kind and helpful. I needed this appointment at the last minute for clearance for surgery and everyone helped make this happen with kindness and professionalism

Everyone's friendly, got in earlier than I expected. Dr Sasenne is always great. Great staff, great doctor.
