Edilberto Benitez, MD Originally from Cuba, Dr. Benitez moved to the US as a teenager, where he earned an undergraduate degree at Miami Dade College's Honors College, graduating with highest honors and distinctions and later at Florida International University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biological Sciences. His early undergraduate lab research work, led to important contributions in the area of cellular and molecular Biology and Cancer research, where he published work contributing to elucidation of molecular mechanisms leading to chemotherapy agent resistance.

Dr. Benitez is kind and understanding. He was patient and listened to my concerns. He immediately ordered tests I was going to request before I even had to ask. The office staff and nurses were kind also. I liked that the office is mostly fragrance free. I could take my mask off and not have to worry about getting a headache.
Dr. Benitez cares about all matters that relate to your overall heart health care. He listens. He explains and he does all that he can do to help you maintain a happy, healthy life.
