I've been a patient at Coastal Plus for many years, and they never disappoint. Appointments are easy to schedule--I can usually get in within the same week, sometimes even the next day. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of interacting with nearly all the staff, including the wonderful physical therapy team. A special shoutout goes to massage therapist Teresa Matthews, whose skillful hands and kind, caring nature have done wonders for my back and neck following a car accident. Dr. Ruiz is consistently professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate, and I'm especially grateful for Dr. Carmen Riza, whom I've been seeing for nearly a decade. She is gentle, attentive, and understanding..always taking the time to listen and provide thoughtful, professional care. Her approach makes even routine exams, like pap smears, feel comfortable and stress-free, a huge plus for any woman! The nurses and technicians who handle blood draws, X-rays, EKGs, and other procedures are equally gentle, friendly, and caring. I've never had a negative experience here and truly don't expect to. The front desk team also deserves recognition for their professionalism and patience...they manage countless calls and appointments each day while still greeting every patient with a smile. Great job, Coastal Plus! Keep up the excellent work, you truly set the standard for quality, compassionate care.

I had been a client at this practice for several years, but the consistent deterioration in patient care and professionalism ultimately forced me to switch practices. I cannot recommend this office for anything beyond simple prescription refills. The core issue lies in the quality of care and communication. I experienced multiple instances where my medical concerns were dismissed, leaving me feeling as though I had to beg for necessary medical advice. The doctors and nurse practitioners consistently displayed a callous approach and a profound lack of adequate communication skills. Doctors are unwilling to stay in the room long enough to have a proper discussion about medical concerns, leading to hurried and inadequate consultations. Additionally, nurse practitioners either do not or will not consult with the doctors regarding patient care, resulting in fragmented and poorly managed long-term treatment. Any need for long-term care or serious medical concerns will likely not be taken seriously at this practice. Furthermore, the administrative follow-up is nonexistent. If you ever need to contact the office for after-appointment clarifications, changes to referrals, or to correct medication-pharmacy errors, you will never get through to anyone, and they will never return your call. The overall impression is one of an office driven by greed and focused primarily on pill-pushing rather than comprehensive, patient-centered care. If you are looking for a practice that provides attentive, respectful, and thorough medical management, look elsewhere.

My husband and i have been seeing Riza for years now,she is excellent NP ,great attitude, knowledgeable ,professional and very kind.. Can't forget Daniel who is excellent at what he does ,very polite and he is particularly great at drawing blood. I never feel a thing when he draws it. Dr Carmen and her stuff were phenomenal. She is the sweetest doctor I've ever met and very caring and wants to help . Her nurse Jen was the best and sweetest person if I could I'd give 1000000 stars

Dr Ruiz , does not even give eye contact , and is beyond rude and has absolutely no bedside manners . I have to wonder if he even reads charts before he goes in because he never seems to know why you are there . Do not go to him to get any paperwork filled out for a work injury or car accident you will pay money to see him specifically and then be told he doesn't have time to do it. You will be treated as if you do not matter, nor do your circumstances. The only good is the front desk and office management along with physical therapy side . They are absolutely wonderful and are absolute stars for working with such a dark individual . I would give them 10 stars if I could !! But unfortunately one bad apple spoils the bunch !!
