Baptist Heart Specialists - Pavilion (Downtown/San Marco)

I have had the pleasure of having Dr, Bharat Gummadi as my cardiologist the last 4 years. He did my original heart catheterization after my minor heart attack while I was at work at Baptist South. He kind and compassionate, yet he's straightforward and allows you to participate in your care. He's also got a good sense of humor, which I truly appreciate! I highly recommend Baptist Cardiology and Dr. Gummadi and his PA, Sara Aboud! They're a great team!

Dr. Mai and his staff are great. You can fill out all of the forms in advance so his staff can focus on treating you like a patient, a person. This place is one of the best for feeling seen as well as being seen. There are a lot of good doctors out there, but there are very few that can make you feel like you got the best treatment available. They take the time to explain the difficult stuff and celebrate the victories. I appreciate the work they're doing and would recommend them to anyone who needs the help.

Had a great visit with Dr. Austin as a new patient. He had reviewed all of my records from Baptist prior to our visit and was fully aware of my previous interventions and treatments. Smooth preoperative prep. Good surgery. Experienced, professional nurses, and experienced, knowledgeable, professional, plus very personable doctor. Post op was essentially normal, with good nursing care. Discharge information reviewed. All in all, I was pleased from beginning to end.
