From the moment you enter the office you are treated in a friendly and professional manner. Dr. McKillop is personable, thorough and professional. He took time, allowing me to provide background and discuss the reason for my referral. He explained his findings and discussed treatment alternatives. He was not rushed and took time to listen to my concerns. I am very pleased with being in his care.

In that this was my first visit to this practice, everyone was very friendly and professional. Really liked Dr Cox's PA. Dr Cox was not what I expected. He was both friendly and caring. He took the time to review my tests with me and explain thoroughly what they mean. Felt relieved after my visit that changes need to be made to help reduce the plaque and precautions taken to keep it under supervision, but I left informed. Often that is not always the case. Looking forward to having Baptist Cardiology and Dr. Cox as a part of my physician family.

Have had exemplary care and experiences with Baptist Health, especially with my long time Primary Care Dr. Jeffrey Jacqmein. On August 18th, on a referral from Dr. Jacqmein, i experienced more excellent care in my first time visit to Beaches Baptist Cardiology, from the moment i walked into a busy waiting room/reception pleasantly greeted there. After a very short wait was escorted back by Linda for an EKG. She was professional, charming and humorous, putting me at ease for the test which i fully appreciated! She then escorted my wife and i into an examination room where Dr. Carlos Sotolongo put the cherry on top of my Cardiology experience! Dr. Sotolongo was impressive, professional, thorough, and amazingly knowledgeable, patient and personal, taking time to answer our questions, to reassure me about treatment options and outcomes, taking much more time with us than we expected. Left me with every confidence in his future treatment recommendations and expertise! Very impressive visit! He made three referral orders for testing based upon labs and diagnosis. When i arrived home, called the scheduling number, spoke with another friendly, competent employee, Joe, who somehow in such a busy place made all 3 of my testing appointments on the same day just a week later. Such comforting experiences for a new patient, never having seen a Cardiologist in 73 years, it bodes well for my future experiences at Baptist Beaches. i failed to say that weeks before that Dr. Jacqmein sent me in for additional blood work at the Beaches Lab. For years i have used another "private" lab but my experience at Beaches was a night and day difference with kind,friendly professionals from check in to the blood draws in a clean sterile, healthy environment. will never go anywhere else for labs!! My mother had a stress test here today. The entire staff was absolutely fantastic. Everyone was efficient, kind, accommodating and very professional. Can't recommend this place enough! A+++

I travel a ways to see Dr. Sotolongo at the beaches location because I am extremely happy with the care I receive. Dr. Sotolongo has such a warm and welcoming demeanor. He eases my anxiety every time. I made a great decision choosing him as my new Cardiologist. His MA is very pleasant, friendly and efficient as well. Thank you Both
